Achiever Business Solutions (ABS) is the European based leader in Governance Risk & Compliance management software, with over 600+ active customers relying on Achiever Plus software to address Governance, Risk & Compliance management. ABS is part of The Sword Group (www.sword-group.com).

ABS are the authors of Achiever Plus, which addresses over 38 areas of compliance within the GRC framework. ABS continues to invest in research and development to ensure that Achiever Plus technology meets these GRC requirements today and is flexible enough to absorb the future's growing GRC demands.

Our BackgroundWith over 600 active clients across the globe, ABS has a proven track record having uniquely provided business management software solutions since 1993. Steady growth has funded continuing development of what is now a fully unified Governance Risk and Compliance management solution - Achiever Plus, capable of meeting complex Governance Risk and Compliance management requirements and business improvement demands across a diverse range of industry sectors. Achiever Plus is also capable of managing adherence to multiple legislative, regulatory and best practice demands. Because Achiever Plus is fast to deploy and easy to manage, customers realize immediate benefit, and return on investment is typically achieved from within three months to one year of implementation.

The Management TeamRobert Dent, CEO
Robert Dent has worked for over 10 years in the compliance environment from both a management consultancy and product vendor perspective. For the last 4 years as CEO of Achiever Business Solutions he has been at the forefront of understanding the ever changing demands of regulated industries. His focus is on automated systems and how they can help relieve the compliance burden and enhance company performance.

Graham Hobbs, Technical Director
Graham Hobbs worked for 15 years in IBM gaining experience in Customer Service, Development and Sales before joining Triangle Group, in 1992 as General Manager. One of his first challenges was to achieve ISO9000 accreditation, deciding to exploit the power of Lotus Notes to deliver this, a decision that led directly to the launch of the Achiever Plus product. Since that time Graham has been involved in every aspect of growing the organization to its current independent position as Achiever Business Solutions.

Matt Covert, VP US
Matt has been involved in implementation, sales and marketing in the IT industry for more than 15 years. Matt has delivered topical presentations in various forums focusing on the automation of compliance oriented systems and how they can add business value. Prior to joining Achiever Business Solutions, Matt worked as a management consultant and in the IT services industry. During this time, he worked in customer facing roles including project management, training, implementation and sales consultancy. His focus is on spreading the Achiever Business Solutions message of compliance while delivering consistency, efficiency, and accountability.
Matt is responsible for sales and operations in the US.

Cherry Rance, Marketing Manager
Qualified with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Cherry has nearly twenty years experience of marketing within the IT industry. Before joining Achiever Business Solutions in December 2003, Cherry worked for several leading ERP vendors and has held senior international marketing roles at Remedy and BMC Software. She has strong experience in strategic marketing management with a focus on corporate communications, partner management and business development. Cherry has global responsibility for marketing management and strategic alliances.

Greg Johns, Sales Manager EMEA
Greg joined Achiever Business Solutions in February 2007 to head up sales operations outside of the US. With a background of holding senior roles within the IT industry for many years, Greg has experience in a number of verticals including Finance, Insurance, Blue Chip, Public and Health Sectors, as well as a track record of creating successful channel partner programmes and direct experience of compliance with ISO standards. His entrepreneural approach has helped
businesses grow significantly and his solution led approach ensures customer satisfaction and
employee success.

Martin Evans – Development Manager
With an Hons Degree in Business Information Technology, Martin has nine years experience in the software development industry, most recently in workflow driven, collaborative solutions. Martin has proven ability to successfully transfer skills and knowledge to new technologies. This adaptable approach, together with attention to detail and the desire to provide a truly complete solution, enable Martin to deliver innovative software products on time and within budget. Having joined Achiever Business Solutions in 2000, Martin has acquired many years experience in the delivery of compliance management solutions and now heads up the development team.

Hannah Unwin – Consultancy Manager
Hannah attained a 2:1BSc (Hons) in French, Economics with International Business and Spanish in 2002 and has gained international experience in setting up and managing ISO 9000:2000 systems. Hannah has also achieved qualifications in QMS Internal Auditing and completed training with BARQA on Regulatory Compliance and Computer Systems and 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance, Assessing Risk in GxP. Hannah joined Achiever Business Solutions in 2003 as a systems consultant and is now responsible for managing global consultancy and training services. This involves pre-sales requirements definition and post sales implementation and rollout.

Carl Hackett, Product Manager
Carl Hackett spent his early career working for a number of the worlds leading corporations, with a focus on business and process improvement. Following this Carl spent 4 years as an independent consultant on the implementation of compliance and business improvement based management systems. Carl joined Achiever Business Solutions in 1996, and has had a range of responsibilities from consultancy, training and project management through to his current role as Product Manager.

LocationsAchiever Business Solutions are based in Alton, Hants in the UK and in Columbus, Ohio, in the US. Global coverage is provided through a small specialist network of resellers and business partners.
